Our spa manager - Monika Seiz

Monika was born and raised in Germany.

She studied cosmetology in Paris where she becamethe international training and public relation manager for the cosmetic company Clarins.

In 1984 her passion for Healing Arts took her to Japan to learn more about oriental Healing Arts and Shiatsu.

From 1987 to 2010 Monika has been a resident in Hawaii where she has studied Hawaiian Temple Bodywork and Lomi-Lomi, (among her teachers are Kahu Abraham Kawai’i and Aunty Margaret Machado).

During her 35 years of work experience she continued her professional education. She also holds certifications in the following: Zen Body Therapy (William Dub Leigh, deep tissue), Neuromuscular Therapy (Paul St. John NMT I-V), Myofascial Release (John Barnes), Cranio-Sacral Therapy (Upledger, Hugh Milne), Dorn and Breuss (gentle spinal alignment), Therapeutic Foot Care, Jin Shin Jyutsu (Mary Burmeister), Foot Reflexology, Zen-Shiatsu

Monika heads up her own massage and beauty practice in Hawaii and teaches in Hawaii, California and Germany.
